Spirit of Monument Award

The Town of Monument is proud to announce Jim Bergeron as the recipient of the 2019 Spirit of Monument Award.  This award was presented at Monument’s 140th Celebration on Saturday, June 15.  The Spirit of Monument Award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated the generosity of spirit, dedication to service and enthusiastic support of our community.

We will be seeking nominations for next year's nominees in early 2020.  This award is for an individual who continually gives of his or her time, dedication and talents to the betterment of the community.  Nominations should be for individuals who lend leadership and vision, organize or assist in achieving organizational goals, who serve on service or community committees and programs lending his or her expertise and guidance voluntarily.   The recipient will have performed any voluntary services that have advanced or helped the quality of life in Monument.
