Failure to Pay & Failure to Appear

You will be listed as a no-show if you do not appear in court or pay the fine by your scheduled court date. Depending on the severity of your violation, the judge will issue a default judgment, outstanding judgement warrant, or bench warrant for your arrest.

If you fail to pay or appear on your court date for a minor violation(s), the judge may issue a default judgment or outstanding judgment warrant resulting in a guilty plea to the original charge(s). This will result in an additional $30.00 court cost fee and $30.00 outstanding judgment fee assessed to the original fine. Your information will be sent to the Department of Revenue and your license will be suspended pending the payment of your fines. Payments made after an issuance of a default or outstanding judgment warrant must be made with cash or money order only.

If you fail to appear on your court date for a more severe violation(s), the judge may issue a bench warrant for your arrest. This will result in an additional $30.00 court cost fee and $65.00 warrant fee assessed to the original fine.
