Community Event Banner Boards

The Town of Monument has three banner board locations, strategically placed on major roads for high visibility. Banner boards are for Monument Community Events and a permit is not required. A  no-fee registration application is required to be completed by the applicant.  The application will then be reviewed by Town Staff to confirm authorization. Note that the Chamber of Commerce has boards that will need to be applied for through them directly.  

  • Use of the Town of Monument banner boards which are located within Town right-of-way, is for community events. 
  • The maximum banner size is 3 ft X 10 ft and must be securely attached with removable zip ties.
  • Banner boards can be reserved 6 months in advance of the event and installed no more than 14 days prior to the event
  • Banners shall be removed within one day after event ends; all trash and zip ties removed as well.
