When you spend money by shopping, dining and experiencing Monument it has a direct impact on your local government’s ability to provide the great services on which you rely. Sales tax is the Town’s main source of revenue and it is used to pay for the many services and amenities enjoyed by residents and visitors, including police protection and public safety; road and traffic enhancements and improvements; parks and trails; community events and more.
The Town of Monument is committed to supporting our local businesses. We would like to build an awareness of our businesses and encourage residents to "Think Monument First" when purchasing goods and services. Each month we spotlight locally-owned businesses, restaurants and shops.
