[ARCHIVED] Town of Monument Water

July 17, 2020

The Town of Monuments Water System currently has two wells that are undergoing emergency repairs and will be out of service for at least the next two weeks.  The loss of these two wells has resulted in a 30% reduction in capacity for the system.  We are asking all current residential customers, HOA’s, and commercial customers to reduce their consumption to minimize the available supply until the two wells are returned to service.  We will inform our customer base when we are back at normal production levels.  The Town of Monument has already reduced the water supply to our municipal parks and cemetery.  We believe this is a temporary situation that should resolve in the next few weeks.  If the reductions that we are asking from our customers are not made, we may reserve the right to impose further restrictions to reduce the demand on the water system.  Please contact Monument Town Hall Water Billing at (719)884-8037 if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you for your patience in this matter.
