[ARCHIVED] Winter Weather Parking

snow plow truck

Whenever there is the threat of two or more inches or enough sleet, snow or ice to cause a solid coating of ice on any street, PLEASE help the plow drivers and park in your vehicles in your driveway or parking lot. Please refrain from parking on Town streets. Due to the size of the plow trucks, sometimes it in nearly impossible to maneuver them around parked vehicles on the road. It is especially important on residential streets and cul-de-sacs.

If you are parked and blocking a safe pass for our plow drivers, police officers must knock on doors to have owners move their vehicle(s). This action could be time consuming and take officers away from their primary function, keeping you and your property safe. Please help us out and keep your vehicles off the road before, during and after snowstorms.
